Deepak Kumar (SMIEEE) visited the Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation at Aalto University, Finland as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the year 2018. He has authored and co-authored numerous research articles in reputed international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, IEEE Systems Journal, IET Generation, Transmission & Distribution, Applied Energy, International Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems (IJEPES), Electric Power Systems Research (EPSR) etc. His research interests include blockchain applications for energy trading, peer-to-peer transactive energy systems, microgrid control with distributed generation, grid-forming and grid-following inverter control for seamless transition, and demand-side management etc.
