The Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, has recognized the National Centre for Disaster Mitigation and Management, MNIT Jaipur, to be the National Center for Earthquake Safety of Dams. A MoU has been signed between Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, New Delhi and the MNIT, Jaipur on 22nd May 2023 in the presence of Hon'ble Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat Ji and Our Hon’ble Director Prof. N.P. Padhy.

MoU has been signed between the National Dam Safety Authority (Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, New Delhi) and the MNIT, Jaipur on 22nd May 2023. The 16th Convocation of MNIT Jaipur was held on 12th April 2023 in the MNIT campus and the chief guest was Shri Om Birla Ji, the Honorable Speaker of the 17th Lok Sabha.
